Descliption of  Yakushi Nyorai

Originally Sho kannon symbolizes Buddha's deep affection toward people.
Anlike Buddha, Sho kannon is not a real person in history.Nobody is know where Shonkannon comes from,but A Buddhist teaching says kannon and seishi Bosatsu are  attendants of Amida Nyorai in western Pure Land.
"Kannon" means to perceive wishes of people well.

In China, Kannon (Goddess-of-Mercy) image came to be carved in wood from around the 5th century, After Buddhism was introdused into Japan through Korea in the 6th century,the Kudara Kannon image and Guse Kannon image were deified Asuka period. Shokannon,Juichimen,Senju,Fuku Kenjyaku,Bato,and Nyoirin Kannons refered to as Roku(Six)Kannons came to be carved as the esoteric Buddhism spread to the country in the 8th century.
